Key Takeaways For July 2026

The most crucial astrological event of July is the shift of the North Node from the sign of Pisces–where it’s been for the past 18 months–into the sign of Aquarius. In March I did a deep dive into the meaning AND implications of this transit since we were experiencing its influence early due to the solar eclipse in Aquarius. It is my belief that a solar eclipse initiates a 6-month sprint where we can pursue our big ideas with significantly less resistance. The archetypal themes of the zodiac sign in which the eclipse occurs are relevant to everyone, yet we can leverage it even moreso to our specific circumstances based on where this is occurring within our natal chart.

Eclipse season is back in August (i.e. another 6 month sprint kicks off) so I recommend taking a step back and seeing what benefits you’ve seen from working on Aquarian concepts that can help you achieve your dreams. There’s about a month & a half left in the current sprint. Did you make good progress and choose to prepare for what’s next in the remaining time? Has the experience not been fruitful and you can see that you need to step up your efforts? There is no right or wrong answer here. The North Node simply asks you to let your passion be your guiding force with the understanding that sometimes an area needs more work and sometimes it doesn’t.

I mentioned last month that we have once-in-a-lifetime astrological formations (minor grand trines) between the outer planets that are providing major boosts of luck, unexpected connections, divine healing energy, and renewed commitment to stretch ourselves as we step into the next stage of our destined path. Not only is this in play throughout the summer but also intermittently over the next two years.

We are one month into this initial 90 day period where these formations are most precise. Think of this as the experience of starting a new job. The first month is when we are:

…exposed to the greater vision–the ideals, goals, and standards. More broadly, this is the spiritual imprint of what we are to strive for, i.e. the destined path we are to harmonize with. This is what we are to reference when we are assessing your progress, development, or integrity. Misalignment to this is the source of conflict and/or spiritual warfare within ourselves as well as others;

…introduced to the culture and key people therein. More broadly, this provides a peek into the inner workings of relationship dynamics, how power is used or not, and where allies and saboteurs might be. With enough experience from the past, our pattern recognition will spot these quickly;

…taught the true nature of the work we are tasked to do. More broadly, this stirs up emotions including a mix of fear, disillusionment, and confidence as we judge where we are vs where we need to be.

That means then that during this second month we will inevitably face the challenges of:

…dealing with our mistakes as we find our footing,

…taking up space and establishing boundaries, and

…discovering where misalignment is tolerated or encouraged.

This difficult and frustrating part of the process is where we are supposed to double down on the unique gifts we bring as well as why we chose to pursue this path in the first place. This is the destined path because it’s both where we can grow and where we serve the best. The circumstances are the best of what’s available to us at this time and is very much an outcome of what we’ve had to work with in the past. [To be clear, this can be a point of contention and bitterness if we’ve had limited resources, opportunities, or access. I argue that while it’s important to acknowledge and feel those emotions as well as be cognizant of greater systemic obstacles, moving forward will require BOTH a belief that something different is possible AND that it’s possible for you. Either “with God all things are possible” or not.]

Persistent, aligned action over time is rewarded and gives staying power.

Bold, fast decisions when unique opportunities present themselves are timeline shifts.

Releasing mental blocks and emotional stagnation that keep us locked into who we used to be and how we used to show up is liberation work.

Gemini Moon Cycle (June 14th - July 13th)

The archetype of Gemini represents our minds, how we process information, communication, writing, skills, friends & siblings, and our immediate environment. This cycle can be a double edged sword. On one hand, our problem-solving capabilities increase, we pick up new information and develop skills more quickly, it’s easier to make new social connections, and we find the drive to finally declutter our living space. On the other hand, our anxiety can increase, we can get bored easily (which could mean taking on too much or sabotaging your progress), miscommunications can arise often, and we may not feel quite ‘settled’. Make sure to give yourself ample time to make a decision (there are few true emergencies), have more fun (don’t take yourself or others too seriously), and remember that curiosity is a gift enjoyed over time.

Cancer Moon Cycle (July 14th - August 11th)

The archetype of Cancer represents our emotions, how we process our feelings, intuition, femininity, creativity, home, and family. We are invited to let the wisdom of this sign teach us the power of going with the flow as well as how to make the most out of the ebb and flow of cycles. Our character development takes center stage as well as our commitment to our work and our purpose. Venus in Virgo represents the pinnacle of healthy independence spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. It is from this place that we can enter into healthy interdependent relationships.

Business Insight

Venus transiting Virgo supports investing in processes and systems that continue to support growth. This investment can be towards the improved use of what’s already in place or an upgrade to something better. Quality over quantity is the name of the game here so any decisions that are to be made shouldn’t be risky but rather well-researched.

Mars in Gemini (June 28th - August 10th)

Personal Insight

Mars in Gemini can be a challenging transit especially for those who experience anxiety. The Warrior archetype Mars thrives on activity so if you don’t have a container for all that mental energy, watch out! How can you make beneficial use of this transit? If there’s been something you’ve been wanting to learn--perhaps a new skill or a training course--then this transit would be the time to dive in. Of course, you might not be as patient with your progress, but you’ll be motivated to learn either way. On an interpersonal note, this is the time to strengthen your relationships. Are you surrounded by people who have hope and faith for the future? Are they always open to learning new things or are they set in their ways? If you determine that you’re not surrounded by enough like-minded/hearted people, then channel the Mars energy into actively searching for those who are!

Business Insight

Mars transiting Gemini makes for a fierce negotiator. While this might be really good to lean into given your industry, this is also a “succeed at all costs” aspect which could burn bridges. Not everyone wins (and everything has a cost) so if you determine that this is the time to take no prisoners, then forge ahead!

Jupiter in Leo (June 30, 2026 - July 27, 2027)

This transit shifts focus to living out one’s soul purpose. This transit is great for those who’ve been diverted from their path due to events from the past as it will help them realign with the deeper desires of their soul. For others already walking in their purpose, there’s a much needed reinvigoration of commitment as well as motivation. This can translate into magnetic charisma and increased luck! In either case, you can expect a willingness to take risks you might not otherwise, which is necessary if you want to go where you’ve never gone before. Judging yourself harshly for a risk that doesn’t pan out is not a good use of this transit. Dust yourself off and try again.

For the entrepreneurs, this is your time to shine. There will be a lot more opportunities for you to be noticed, whether through marketing or networking. These next 12 months are the time to:
