Even though we are in a Sun year (see the 2026 Astrology Planning Workshop for more info), this month is the first time I think we’ll feel the power–and pressure–of the Sun at its height. Much of the major activity happens in the second half of the month with a whiplash of harsh and soothing aspects between the Sun and the outer planets, specifically:
Sun in Scorpio squares off with Jupiter, Mars, & the South Node in Leo November 15th-19th
Fire trines between the Sun in Sagittarius & Neptune in Aries on November 23rd and the Sun & Saturn in Aries on November 29th

What is the Sun in the darkness and depths of the Scorpio archetype? What is the Sun in the expansive fire of the Sagittarius archetype? The Sun represents you - your spirit, your pure undifferentiated Self. We have created these zodiacal archetypes as prisms through which your Spirit can express. I think we’ve got to sit with ourselves–literally set aside time to be alone in silence, think, journal, etc–and take a good look at who we are AND who we are not. Then I think we have to use that information to get real about our desires: what has changed with new life experiences and information? What needs to be adjusted or dropped? What’s going to take more time? How much are we holding to the story we’ve told so long around
This clarity will also identify where you must stop wasting precious energy, time, and resources instead build sustainable behaviors and relationships. While this normally might be a difficult task, our star is literally helping us to do this in November.

November 2026 Astrology Guidance
Scorpio Moon Cycle (November 8th - December 7th)
The Scorpio cycle provides you an opportunity to easily go after what you want unapologetically. This is not the time when you’ll find yourself second-guessing. No, instead you’ll be able to quickly assess the possibilities in front of you--people, places, circumstances--and decide whether or not it’s a “Yes” or “No”- making that decision with minimal reservation about whether others like it or not. While on the surface this may seem abrupt or be taken harshly by some, what it really shows you is how “lukewarm” you can be about many things, how often you disempower yourself. Sometimes your best choice is to acknowledge that nothing that’s currently available pleases you--and you can choose to simply walk away instead of trying to “make it work”.
Mercury in Scorpio (September 30th - December 5th [Retrograde Oct 24th - Nov 12th])
Personal Insight
Mercury in Scorpio incites us to “call a spade a spade”. Wherever there is--or has been--conflict around you needs to be handled during this transit. Mercury will not mince words so be mindful about how you communicate as much as what you communicate. This conflict could very easily be an internal acknowledgment of areas of pain, wounding, heartbreak, betrayal, trauma, etc; if so, now is the time to dig deep. On the other hand this transit can be incredibly supportive for manifesting! This could show up spiritually or with the speed of things falling into place on material projects. However, you’ll have to stay focused on what’s yours instead of what’s enticing that others may be presenting to you--take care of your things first so that you can determine what you actually have to give when all is said and done.
Business Insight
Mercury in Scorpio benefits those businesses that are operating externally (products & services) and internally in alignment with their vision. This can appear as any legal concerns being resolved easily, or simply any fears you may have about the potential for problems being alleviated. The most important thing though is that you double down on your ‘roots’, i.e. that which makes your business unique; if you’ve forgotten, then take a trip down memory lane to the early days. Marketing via existing channels about the clarity and passion around your big “Why” is what will make your business stand out in the market and help the perfect customers find you during this transit.
Venus in Scorpio (September 10th - January 7, 2027 [Retrograde Oct 3rd - Nov 12th])
Personal Insight
Venus in Scorpio invites us to look at our long-term financial goals and what financial well-being looks like beyond ourselves. How are we handling our debts? Do we wish to leave something for our families when we cross over - beyond funeral expenses? Can we strive to build financial overflow for ourselves so that we can financially support our family/parents/etc without sacrifice? Considerations around money beyond immediate needs and instant gratification can be a fear-inducing topic; it can also bring up shame, guilt, etc. You are encouraged to face what’s here for you and ask for support from those who are professionals to help you come to decisions. This transit reminds you that more is available!
Business Insight
Venus transiting Scorpio can support the receiving of lines of credit, loans, grants, and the like so you may find you make headway with those things during this time, especially if there have been obstacles before. You can also make progress on reducing debts or finding new investment opportunities. Don’t forget to negotiate strongly on money on any new contracts or collaborations.
Mars in Leo (September 27th - November 24th)
Personal Insight
Mars in Leo brings a maturing energy to the divine masculine principle within each of us. As Leo is ruled by the Sun, a strong source of courage and confidence is provided by this transit. We just have to be careful not to become haughty! Use Mars in Leo to quiet the inner saboteur that seeks to talk you out of making beneficial decisions for yourself or for continuing to pursue your goals. Push thru the fear--without taking unnecessary risks--and go after what you want. Be sure to play as hard as you work, otherwise you’ll become resentful. Also, take pride in your appearance. This is a transit to show up and show out!
Business Insight
Mars transiting Leo puts the focus on you as the business owner. Here’s where your focus must be to see business growth. Business is also done between people even in product-based enterprises. Amplifying the person ‘behind the brand’ is a key component of any business’ success in our interconnected world. Center your humanity--let people see who you are in your marketing. Attend events especially ones led by other leaders who are further along the path than you. Put yourself out there and be seen!
Jupiter in Leo (June 30, 2026 - July 27, 2027 [Retrograde Dec. 12, 2026 - Apr. 30, 2027])
This transit shifts focus to living out one’s soul purpose. This transit is great for those who’ve been diverted from their path due to events from the past as it will help them realign with the deeper desires of their soul. For others already walking in their purpose, there’s a much needed reinvigoration of commitment as well as motivation. This can translate into magnetic charisma and increased luck! In either case, you can expect a willingness to take risks you might not otherwise, which is necessary if you want to go where you’ve never gone before. Judging yourself harshly for a risk that doesn’t pan out is not a good use of this transit. Dust yourself off and try again.
For the entrepreneurs, this is your time to shine. There will be a lot more opportunities for you to be noticed, whether through marketing or networking. These next 12 months are the time to:
work on (further) establishing yourself as a leader with industry expertise and good business acumen through writing, speaking, etc,
network strategically & consistently, and
stack wins in initiatives that will set you apart down the road.
