February 2026 Astrology Overview

Happy Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse! Looks like we have another active astrology month ahead. There are three things of note I think are important to pay attention to:

First ~

We have a new moon solar eclipse in Aquarius (28°) which serves as both the kick-off to a 6 month period where we're pushed to go after Aquarian goals as well as a precursor to the upcoming North Node shift into Aquarius.

One theme Aquarius points us to is perspectives, experiences, or activities that bring a sense of fulfillment; this can be referred to as soul purpose or ikigai. In the past (recent and distant), this might have been more about continuing the traditions of the family, faith, etc to the best of our ability. In the modern age, this has opened up to also include personal considerations: pleasure for the sake of pleasure such as gardening, cooking, painting, or knitting, and even political engagement or starting a business. And yes, for some this could look like having a job you enjoy that also benefits the community. We can get a lot of clues from our natal charts, but ultimately we decide what fulfillment is going to be for us.

For some, the clarity comes early in life and they’re currently at peace within themselves. For others, they’re still searching for what fulfillment is for them. And for yet others, they know what fulfillment looks like and they’re striving to have it.

Contemplation questions:

Is your idea of purpose locked in the belief that your employment has to provide fulfillment or is that someone else’s story that you’ve taken on as your own?
Are you already experiencing fulfillment, yet find ways to disrupt it because others around you have a purpose that provides social or financial recognition that yours doesn’t?

Aquarius also points to relationships in the broadest context–think associations, industry connections, networking, etc. Therefore, we may be inspired to invest more energy in creating and maintaining these forms of relationships at this time. These necessarily prove fruitful over time because (abundant) resources come most easily through relationships.

And yet another theme of Aquarius is the advancement of society at large. Once family/local community (Cancer) and government (Capricorn) have been established, then the question of “Where do we go from here?” arises. This is both a consideration at the country level AND the global level. What is the vision of a country, i.e. what does it wish to achieve or become? (An frequent example across millenia & cultures is imperialism.) What does the vision of a global society look like? (Examples of the beginnings of this are the League of Nations and the United Nations.)

This solar eclipse cycle and the upcoming north node transit will place these themes–fulfillment, networks, and societal advancement–front and center as worthy goals to pursue. And at scale, the “global” consideration is the focal point of the “Aquarian Age” , i.e. we are (slowly) coming up on a few millenia where we can practice making this a reality.

Second ~

We have Saturn’s entry into Aries and the official beginning of a new Saturn cycle. (“We did it, Joe!”) Saturn takes approximately 30 years to transit through all 12 signs of the zodiac which means we have come to the beginning of a new generational cycle.

The last time Saturn was in Aries was the late 1990s (1996-1998). It’s wild to look back over just the years and see just how much has changed! For those who have enough life experience where this is at least your 2nd time seeing this transit (i.e. over 40 years old), then you’ll be able to clearly see that now you’re in a place of strength and stability related to Aries themes where previously you struggled. For those where this is your first time with Saturn in Aries (or you were younger than 10 years old for the first time), this may prove to be a challenging transit for you. (This placement in your natal chart matters.)

Saturn’s transit through an individual zodiac sign takes about 2.5 years. Since we already had a foreshadowing of the Aries themes in 2025 (June, July, August specifically) when Saturn dipped its toe into Aries we are now well-prepared to walk this journey intentionally. Third ~

Uranus will go direct in Taurus and remain future focused on the new Gemini cycle approaching in April. Uranus is associated with all the themes of Aquarius I shared earlier. Saturn was the original “ruler” of Aquarius, but that mantle was passed onto Uranus once it was discovered in the late 18th century. In addition to innovation, Uranus also signals something else not under our direct control: divine intervention.

During its transit through Taurus over these last 8 years, this might have looked like money or other physical resources such as housing, food, clothing, or equipment being provided to you when you were in a tough situation, or being positioned to be the one to stand in the gap for another who needed crucial resources. This transit could have also provided a heightened accumulation of resources due to your hard work, especially in those years where Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto were in Capricorn (2019-2021). As this transit comes to an end, it’s possible that the volatility around your resources (positive or negative) will begin to quell and your new baseline will solidify in preparation for the Gemini transit.

It’s important to review all the ups and downs around your resources since 2018/2019 to now:

Contemplation questions:

How well did you handle a rapid increase in resources? How well did you handle a rapid decrease in resources?
What has remained valuable to you by the retention of your individual effort regardless of the volatility over the years? What is valuable to you that you were not able to maintain of your own volition that would benefit from outside support? And will you allow yourself to enlist that support moving forward?

In conclusion ~

As you can see this is a full month of powerful themes that we get to sit with, strategize around, and begin taking action on. There is no rush, even though it may feel quite intense leading into the summer. It can definitely feel like a clean slate if you allow it; but just remember you’re not starting over, you’re continuing refreshed.

February 2026 Astrology Insights

Capricorn Moon Cycle (January 18th - February 16th)

The Capricorn cycle invites us to work on making ‘real’ that which we have aligned ourselves with at a soul level. We must really put in the effort and strive to bring the best of our abilities to the manifestation of these things. The time for constant rumination is over! Instead diligent, detailed, and excellent work is required. You’ll know you have ‘succeeded’ when those things outside of your control which have seemed to be on pause suddenly shift and open up. If that hasn’t happened yet, then there’s still more work for you to do or more things you still need to take care of. Don’t skip steps - be appreciative for this time of discipline. Capricorn won’t give a reward unless the work is put in.

Aquarius Moon Cycle (February 17th - March 17th)

The Aquarius cycle stretches our minds, our perspectives, and our inspired actions. The desire to learn more, do more, innovate more is strong. We must watch that we don’t get carried away with the possibilities… Will we actually see things through with time, effort, & resources that would need to be invested in order to bring a possibility into manifestation? OR do we just like the idea of a thing but really don’t have the internal consistency, discipline, or personal responsibility to make it happen? If we really allowed ourselves to develop the beneficial aspects of Capricorn in the previous cycle, then this can be an exciting period of synchronicities!

Mercury in Aquarius (January 20th - February 5th)

Personal Insight

Mercury in Aquarius helps us have a much easier time contemplating spirituality and complex topics while also opening up our ability to communicate with divine beings more readily. This will be a fantastic time to get lots of spiritual downloads from your Higher Self. Trust the messages centered on divine love, cosmic law, and ways to bring about internal balance. This emerging path of humanity requires new guidance, new insight, and new inspiration. (To be clear, it’s “new” to us but not actually “new”.) Let your inner wisdom through your body consciousness and Higher Self be the Truth Tellers.

Business Insight

Mercury in Aquarius is a great transit that helps us think outside of the box, increase our capacity to understand complicated things (like emerging technology), and open doors for connection with new peers and mentors. Plus, we can become incredibly inspired to dream big and reaffirm the components of our long term vision. Lean into reaching out to new people and stretch yourself to learn something new!

Mercury in Pisces (February 6th - April 13th; Retrograde February 25th - March 19th)

Personal Insight

Mercury becomes the Voice Of God as the Spirit’s messenger during its transit through Pisces. As the representative of our conscious mind which has already gone through the process of refining our Divine Human Consciousness, Mercury now strictly becomes the mouthpiece for the Divine. Let Spirit lead the way in directing your life paying particular attention to the house in which this transit occurs. Depending on the house this is for your personal natal chart, you can expect to be given ingenious and simple answers to your questions, problems, and tasks as it relates to those areas of life. However this shows up for you, becoming more still is the key to getting the most out of Mercury’s transit. If you try to push or prioritize the personal/ego mind, then you’ll have a rough time with this transit. Center meditation at the top of the day and watch the flow of the day ahead be miraculous. Can you let it be easy?

Business Insight

Mercury’s transit through Pisces can help you dream big and get clear on your long term goals. You may be inspired by different ways to achieve your goals that don't come at the cost of your well-being. You may finally get clarity on what the actual vision needs to be. Perhaps you may be nudged to create new financial goals. Whatever it is, throw the net far and wide!

Venus in Aquarius (January 17th - February 9th)

Personal Insight

Venus in Aquarius invites us to keep our focus on making our dreams a reality. Trust the essence of possibilities that can be sensed in the air during this transit and lean into the forward momentum your soul is generating. This can be an incredibly creative time where you’ll find your ability to know exactly what to do and when comes much more easily. Now is not the time to pump the brakes. Your dreams can come true if you truly understand the Door of Opportunity is open right now. Take the actions that will set you up to receive the blessings you say you want.

Business Insight

Beneficial connections in your existing network or a new one can be tapped into at this time. Mentorship is supported as well as sharing experiences so that all benefit. You may find that opportunities, referrals, or other benefits emerge through the people you know. If you’ve struggled with adapting newer technology, use this time to make any necessary shifts; you’ll have an easier time learning as well.

Venus in Pisces (February 10th - March 5th)

Personal Insight

Venus in Pisces can help us more deeply explore our spirituality, enjoy music and all the arts (perhaps participating in a few?), leaning more into journaling for personal growth, and prioritizing our mental health. It can also be a supportive time for questioning your beliefs and actively seeking where you’ve been operating under illusion (think lying to yourself about how you really feel regarding a charged situation). As a mutable sign, Pisces asks us to be pliable and not rigid like Aquarius (a fixed sign) can be. Sometimes a way or being or perceiving the world has to fall away and something new is appropriate to adopt; sometimes not. But running from actively challenging where you’re comfortable is not what Venus will allow for these few weeks.

Business Insight

Venus transiting through a water sign can easily benefit your business’ financial state, whether directly or indirectly. Pisces moves in spirals and holds the paradox in high esteem… could it be that you make progress by not pushing as much? Could something seemingly “unrelated” to your goal actually help you achieve it? Be open to the ease and flow that Pisces hints at; this transit reminds you that there are more forces at play then just simply what you do.

Mars in Aquarius (January 23rd - March 1st)

Personal Insight

Mars in Aquarius signals a very creative time where you are asked to stretch more–train more–so that you can embody more of who you need to be to effectively steward what you want to create. It also brings an important message: you’re very close to achieving your goal. You are at a place of maturity now where you can actually integrate skills in a way that you couldn’t before… and you’ll get better results because of it. While you have a lot of experience and wisdom, you must still be mindful of the fact that there is still more to learn and develop. However don’t let that fact keep you from stepping boldly into action with confidence. Time is never wasted; sometimes revisiting something when you’re older ends up giving you the outcome you’ve always wanted with less likelihood that you’ll sabotage it. Give thanks.

Business Insight

Mars in Aquarius provides a time to leverage more of the technology available to you to support scaling up. This may or may not mean implementing 'new' technology per se--for instance, you might simply benefit from leaning fully into what you're already using--but it does mean that you consider the systems that need to be in place to handle MORE, whether that is clientele, products, employees, etc. If your business doubled, could you handle it? Tripled? At what point would things "break"? These are important considerations as your business evolves. Use this transit to stay ahead of potential snags.
