July 2025 Overview

This month kicks off the typical retrograde season for the outer planets. Neptune and Saturn go retrograde in Aries, joining Pluto who’s already retrograde in Aquarius. Mercury also joins the group with its second retrograde of the year in Leo. Yay… You know how to handle retrogrades, so let’s move on.

I know everyone is going to be talking about Uranus entering Gemini as the start of a new cycle, but remember what I said in the 2025 Astrology Forecast: this is a foreshadowing of the new cycle which starts in 2026. I highly recommend you observe, test, and plan over the coming months.

Uranus takes 7 years to go through a sign and approximately 84 years to complete a path through all zodiac signs. While most of us were not alive when it was last in Gemini, a good number of people were born in or came soon after Uranus in Sagittarius (80s & 90s). I mention Sagittarius because it was the halfway point–the full moon, if you will–of the world experience after The Great Depression and two World Wars. The archetype of Sagittarius centers hope and idealism by looking at the hard things and saying, “We can be more and I can motivate us to get there”. (Example: When musical artists came together to create the song “We Are The World” during the 80s.) But what's the challenge this archetype has in general? Not being able to sustain the big ideas that have been brought to life over the long-term.

You've heard me say that the answer to a zodiac sign’s core issue can be found in its opposite sign (in this case, Gemini). The solution Gemini presents to Sagittarius is the importance of the “group”--the people that Sagittarius needs to bring in to help sustain the big idea it has created (which also means picking those people well and getting out their way…a whole other thing!). As we come back around to that transitional period of Uranus in Taurus & Gemini and experience a global economic downturn and the early stages of World War 3 like a century ago, we have the opportunity to attempt new strategies that will enable self-sustaining progress.

Whether at a personal, local, or global level, I think it’s safe to say we should expect to see the rise and fall of alliances amidst the rapid proliferation of creativity, innovation, and values in the coming years of this transit (which will also trine Pluto in Aquarius). Folks will get lots of practice dealing with the pressures and responsibilities of leadership and right stewardship, regardless of the group organizational structure. And folks will have to get really honest about whether they're the “idea” person (Sagittarius) or the person who has the capacity to deal with the requirements & consequences of manifestation (Capricorn). Whether we'll have a different outcome is left to be seen.

Last, but not least…

Every once and a while we get some incredible alignments in our solar system which open the aperture of exposure wider to electromagnetic streams from stars and as well as other galaxies.

July 22nd through July 25th is that time.

For context of the astronomical (not astrological) environment, there will be a loose “kite” formation between the following:

  • Uranus aligned with Aldebaran (Taurus constellation) at the top of the kite,

  • Saturn & Neptune aligned with M74/Phantom Galaxy (Pisces constellation) on one side of the kite,

  • Sun aligned with M44/Beehive open cluster (Cancer constellation) on the other side of the kite, and

  • There is no planet in our solar system that will be in the location where the base of the kite would be in this configuration, which means that the star Antares (Scorpio constellation) is directly opposed to Uranus without a “filter” (besides the heliosphere of course).

Separately, Jupiter will be in a loose opposition to the Galactic Center.

What does this all mean? It is an opportunity for a galactic initiation, especially for star seeds. If you followed my guidance to consciously harmonize with the “solar integration” of the solstice  by raising your vibration DAILY in the days leading up to it, then you'll be able to readily receive these energies. This time  around you're going to harmonize with Uranus, rather than the Sun. Of course, protection is always key so I recommend calling in and working with the following Archangels of Light:

▪︎ Archangel Uriel (primary)

▪︎ Archangel Michael

▪︎ Archangel Tsaphkiel

▪︎ Archangel Asrael

Ask Uriel to be in charge of the distribution of the energy to your aura, and the others to support fine-tuning it & helping you to harmonize to it. Please note that if you didn't do the solstice work, then this time period will probably have you feeling really drained, wired & tired, and possibly ungrounded.

Big shifts in the spiritual realms are coming by Lion's Gate in August and the support for rapid spiritual expansion personally and collectively is readily available. Embrace the glow up!

July 2025 Astrology Insights

Working with the moon cycle

Every moon cycle can be divided into 4 phases:

  1. New moon - Use these first 7 days to rest more by keeping your schedule light and prioritize extra time with Spirit.

  2. Waxing moon - Over these 7 days you’ll notice that your motivation and momentum increases. Take action in pursuit of your goals!

  3. Full moon - These 7 days will give you peak energy and drive. This is great for social activities like events, meetings, etc.

  4. Waning moon - These final 7 days are best for knocking out the  “To Do” list and strategizing.

Cancer Moon Cycle (June 25th - July 23rd)

The archetype of Cancer represents our emotions, how we process our feelings, intuition, femininity, creativity, home, and family. We are invited to let the wisdom of this sign teach us the power of going with the flow as well as how to make the most out of the ebb and flow of cycles. This archetype can be a challenge for those of us raised in western culture because it challenges our notions of control and personal power. The Cancer archetype reminds us that the connections of the heart have a deep impact on our sense of fulfillment and also how direct the connection with our soul is. Embracing Cancer strengthens our internal foundation and reminds us of what’s really important, highlights our inner truth, deepens communication with Spirit, and guards the parts of us that are vulnerable.

Working with the personal planets

Mercury is associated with our mind, skills, communication, & commerce/markets

Venus is associated with our values, money, possessions, and love

Mars is associated with our ambition, physical energy, and will

Mercury in Leo (June 26th - September 1st; Retrograde July 17th - August 10th)

Personal Insight

Mercury in Leo is a great time to toot your own horn. If you don’t do it, who else will? (Although, you should also have folks around who will see the best in you and speak that back to you when you aren’t feeling that great!) Confidence and humility are bosom buddies because they are rooted in authenticity. Speak the truth about who you are and what you bring to the table (relationships, work, etc) without apology. This can be a time of healthy self-assertion if you let it. It also wouldn’t hurt to turn the charm on every now and then either.

Business Insight

Mercury in Leo is a great time to feature leaders in the company in your marketing campaigns to familiarize the client base with your brand. This can also happen internally as well to show pathways for advancement or possible mentors available for professional development. This transit can also be used to emphasize what makes you unique in your products or services - clients and employees benefit from this reminder and it can help you (CEO) from diluting your brand.

Venus in Gemini (July 4th - July 29th)

Personal Insight

Venus in Gemini brings attention to our platonic relationships. Examples of this would be our local community and friends, siblings and cousins, and coworkers. Expect there to be strengthening of existing, healthy relationships, healing for unhealthy ones (which may or may not mean they remain intact!), and a reconsideration and/or expansion of what we consider to be “community” overall. Unhealthy relationships will be asked to adjust into greater interdependence and open-heartedness. This is a focus on “we” (i.e. what benefits all) and less on “me” (i.e. what do I get out of it) - but of course, “me” is still included in “we”.

Business Insight

Venus in Gemini is the best transit for selling via all forms of communication: sales calls, DMs, newsletters, ads, billboards… you name it! If you have any scheduled marketing strategy that is being deployed for a new product or service, then you can expect to see nice strong sales. If you don’t have anything ‘new’ to introduce to your market, then take this transit to reinforce the best of what you offer. Those who communicate regularly and intelligently (remember - your audience is sophisticated) will have increased revenue while those who choose not to take up space will see a decrease!

Mars in Virgo (June 17th - August 5th)

Personal Insight

Mars in Virgo can help us become the master problem solver. Our capacity to dissect seemingly complex situations, assess areas for improvement, and develop solutions to problems are strengthened with this transit. We will see a desire to become a master at our craft, to stay the course in our goals, and strive to let our work speak for itself instead of our ego. On the other hand we’ll have to watch that we don’t become too critical. Virgo exposes all--good, bad, and neutral--to us so remember that not everything has to be addressed at this time. Tackle what must be dealt with at any given time and leave room for the timing to bring other things to you when necessary.

Business Insight

Mars transiting Virgo is a great time to refine and/or adjust the systems and processes that you use to run your business. Whether this is consolidating email platforms, repurposing content across social media, documenting workflows for subordinates, or creating new onboarding protocols for clients, use this fuel to keep your ship running smoothly. More often than not you won’t have to replace anything, but rather streamline what you have. If there’s nothing ‘wrong’, then you can use the time to upgrade what you do have in place.
