October 2025 Overview

If I were to describe October with one word, it would be “uptick”. And it’s an “uptick” not only for this month, but for the rest of the year. This is due to Air and Water trines that are active over the next 90 days.

First, we’ll see Venus activate the Grand Trine in Air we experienced at the Autumn Equinox when it comes into Libra in mid-October. This is the same position the Sun had at that time and this re-activation is coupled with Pluto going direct in Aquarius. Expect a repeat of the experiences you had at the equinox with increased communication, relationship building, education, and the like which might lead to opportunities.

Second, we’ll be having Jupiter in Cancer trine Saturn in Pisces from now through the beginning of January and a specific activation of a Grand Trine in Water as all of the personal planets–Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Mars–transit the later degrees of Scorpio at the end of October and into November. Again you’ll find yourself outputting more when the Grand Trine is activated in particular, primarily in the area(s) of life where Saturn is sitting in your natal chart.

With that being said, heart-centeredness is a major theme for October, Scorpio season, and the coming Scorpio moon cycle in November/December. Increasing our ability and capacity to be with the immensity of all that we are–not just in our ego mind, but also our heart mind and body mind–while also being increasingly more active/busy is our most important work for Q4. New moon - Use these first 7 days to rest more by keeping your schedule light and prioritize extra time with Spirit.
Waxing moon - Over these 7 days you’ll notice that your motivation and momentum increases. Take action in pursuit of your goals!
Full moon - These 7 days will give you peak energy and drive. This is great for social activities like events, meetings, etc.
Waning moon - These final 7 days are best for knocking out the “To Do” list and strategizing.

Virgo Moon Cycle (September 21st - October 20th)

The archetype of Virgo centers on improving upon ourselves, our gifts & talents, our skills, and our work/service. At the highest level this speaks to self & spiritual mastery and is the natural progression out of the archetype of Leo. How can you make the most out of that which is unique to you? Which of your creative explorations require more education or skill development and what is simply to be for fun? This cycle requires more from us than simply getting by on luck or charm or raw talent. We have an opportunity to cultivate discipline and set ourselves up for success. This cycle is also very supportive for improving physical wellness!

Mercury in Scorpio (October 6th - October 28th)

Personal Insight

Mercury in Scorpio incites us to “call a spade a spade”. Wherever there is--or has been--conflict around you needs to be handled during this transit. Mercury will not mince words so be mindful about how you communicate as much as what you communicate. This conflict could very easily be an internal acknowledgment of areas of pain, wounding, heartbreak, betrayal, trauma, etc; if so, now is the time to dig deep. On the other hand this transit can be incredibly supportive for manifesting! This could show up spiritually or with the speed of things falling into place on material projects. However, you’ll have to stay focused on what’s yours instead of what’s enticing that others may be presenting to you--take care of your things first so that you can determine what you actually have to give when all is said and done.

Business Insight

Mercury in Scorpio benefits those businesses that are operating externally (products & services) and internally in alignment with their vision. This can appear as any legal concerns being resolved easily, or simply any fears you may have about the potential for problems being alleviated. The most important thing though is that you double down on your ‘roots’, i.e. that which makes your business unique; if you’ve forgotten, then take a trip down memory lane to the early days. Marketing via existing channels about the clarity and passion around your big “Why” is what will make your business stand out in the market and help the perfect customers find you during this transit.

Venus in Virgo (September 19th - October 12th)

Personal Insight

Venus in Virgo reminds us to enjoy a good life filled with quality people, things, and experiences, but also the importance of keeping some of who we are to ourselves. Access to our inner world is not to be given lightly under the discerning eye of the Virgo archetype. For that matter confidence in oneself regardless of external validation is the standard. Our character development takes center stage as well as our commitment to our work and our purpose. Venus in Virgo represents the pinnacle of healthy independence spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. It is from this place that we can enter into healthy interdependent relationships.

Business Insight

Venus transiting Virgo supports investing in processes and systems that continue to support growth. This investment can be towards the refinement of what’s already in place or an upgrade to something better, more technologically advanced, and/or which streamlines multiple workflows. This could also look like training for the improvement of certain skills in areas such as sales, leadership development, marketing, etc. Quality over quantity is the name of the game here so any decisions that are to be made shouldn’t be risky but rather well-researched.

Venus in Libra (October 13th - November 5th)

Personal Insight

Venus in Libra is all about cultivating healthy, interdependent relationships…not just with another person (romantic or business), but with your Soul and the Divine as well. This isn’t a transit focused on “building legacy” rather one that is focused on finding balance between all parties. Try not to veer into discussions about the future during this time, instead focus on deepening an understanding of who you’re dealing with. Be curious (when learning about another). Be open (when another is learning about you).

Business Insight

Venus transiting Libra shifts the focus to marketing. What efforts in the past have paid off, i.e. have grown the business in a particular metric such as increased newsletter subscribers, higher conversion rates, increased profits, higher website traffic, increased referrals, reduced returns, etc? Cut your losses on those things that aren’t bearing fruit and lean into those things that are. This assessment helps to establish your business as “best in class”.

Mars in Scorpio (September 22nd - November 3rd)

Personal Insight

Mars in Scorpio is a “no-nonsense” transit! You will be shown where you create obstacles and suffering for yourself due to second-guessing what God already told you to do or delaying action because of a ‘well-meaning’ defense. Radical ownership of going after what you want is the name of the game when Mars has access to the immense power of Scorpio. The capacity at which you utilize your own personal power--whether too little or too much--will be very apparent. Is it time to step up or fall back?

Business Insight

Mars transiting Scorpio highlights the importance of paying down debts (or leveraging debt), keeping up to date with taxes, and taking action on investments that can prove beneficial to the business, directly or indirectly. This is not a time for rash decision-making; instead use this transit to take a step back and assess what your next financial goal is and what it will take to achieve it. In some cases you will have to work more, in others you may have to streamline and cut costs/products/services, or possibly introduce new ways of generating revenue. (Most likely you’ll have to do a combination of all of these things!)
