With eclipse season over things will begin to feel like they’re getting back to normal this month. The astrological skies are also relatively quiet which should provide a bit of a reprieve from the extra activity the past few months. With that being said, there are two events I do want you to pay attention to:
Uranus going retrograde in Gemini & Grand Air Trine between Mercury, Uranus, and Pluto, and
Autumn Equinox, i.e. spiritual new year
This will be our first experience of Uranus being retrograde in Gemini and it will be in effect until the beginning of February 2027. The mainstream perspective on retrogrades is that they are a time of review and adjustment. You can definitely apply that here–specifically by reviewing the Uranus influence that has been in play since May. (I talked about this 8 years transit in depth across several live Oracle Talks which you can watch HERE.) Of course, depending on where Gemini is in your chart will reveal the areas of life that are relevant to you.
Add to this the Grand Air Trine in play between Mercury in Libra, Uranus in Gemini, and Pluto in Aquarius.
Pluto can bring the drama as it highlights where power is being unused, misused, or abused, ultimately to get us to a place where we can make right use of our power intentionally. In Aquarius this could be as ‘benign’ as relationship conflict flaring up in a larger group (workplace, friend group, etc) due to the fallout between two people…or as devastating as physical violence with technology being used to attack civilians.
And then Mercury adds its influence to amplify our propensity to be enamored with intellectually stimulating things. In the sign of Libra this adds a component of important one-on-one connections or contracts as well as deeper interest in the arts & creativity. Mercury is the only planet that’s not in a retrograde motion so we may find it much easier to come up with new/innovative solutions to cumbersome relational dynamics, renewed interest in forgotten creative projects, or more openness to technology.
What’s it all mean?
On the spiritual side, you are challenged to face the dynamic between personal will and divine will. You should look to see where you may be putting our will ahead of our spirit’s will. How can you tell the difference? The key is to get quiet. Nothing replaces meditation and staying connected to your body. A relaxed nervous system makes it easy to determine what’s your reactive mind vs what’s the peace beyond understanding emanating from you.
On the entrepreneur side, you may find that you are adding things to our plate to avoid living in & allowing the “in-between” to bring things to the surface that you’ve been needing to address. This is easier said than done in a culture that doesn’t value downtime or not maximizing every minute. If you notice you’re getting distracted by something, ask yourself if it directly supports the work you’re already engaged in. In other words, is it the next best step in achieving the goals you’ve established? Yes, you can do all the things, but is it true that you can do them all at once?
Finally, The Autumn Equinox heralds the new spiritual year. This is the time of the "seed" - that which gives rise to the flowers and fruits of Spring Equinox. It is here where you do your most important work, here where the choices you make & the actions you take have profound effects in the future, here where conversations with the Divine are prophetic. For me, now through November is the time when I feel closest to the Great Mysteries and where so much energetically becomes available to work with. For many this is also the time when they perceive and communicate more easily with their ancestors.

All in all, this month invites you to take a step back and see the bigger picture as well as start to look and plan for what you want to step into next year.

September 2026 Astrology Guidance
Virgo Moon Cycle (September 10th - October 9th)
The archetype of Virgo centers on improving upon ourselves, our gifts & talents, our skills, and our work/service. At the highest level this speaks to self & spiritual mastery and is the natural progression out of the archetype of Leo. How can you make the most out of that which is unique to you? Which of your creative explorations require more education or skill development and what is simply to be for fun? This cycle requires more from us than simply getting by on luck or charm or raw talent. We have an opportunity to cultivate discipline and set ourselves up for success. This cycle is also very supportive for improving physical wellness!
Mercury in Libra (September 10th - September 29th)
Personal Insight
Mercury in Libra signals a time of important conversations with those key relationships in your life: romantic partners and business partners. What are the long-term goals? Are you in alignment? What needs to change? How much farther into the future does the perspective need to shift? It’s important to talk about the hard things while the stakes aren’t high. It will be important to face the subconscious biases and fears that are factoring into the dynamics of these relationships. As always we can only effectively negotiate and create the best possible outcome when we are being honest about our needs and wants. (Note: the “best possible outcome” does not mean that the relationship will remain in place… the best outcome might be for someone to walk away.)
Business Insight
Mercury in Libra can be a great time to review and/or implement contracts, disclosures, legal documents, and the like. Does anything need to be adjusted based on the goals you’ve set for the business? Maybe it’s time to consider different business structures - sole proprietorship, LLC, Corp? Have you considered how you will address certain challenges should they arise such as client disputes, trademark infringement, etc? Now is a good time to think about that and put different plans in place. You can also use this transit to search for legal counsel to have on deck or circle back around to existing counsel for any pressing issues.
Venus in Scorpio (September 10th - January 7, 2027 [Retrograde Oct 3rd - Nov 12th])
Personal Insight
Venus in Scorpio invites us to look at our long-term financial goals and what financial well-being looks like beyond ourselves. How are we handling our debts? Do we wish to leave something for our families when we cross over - beyond funeral expenses? Can we strive to build financial overflow for ourselves so that we can financially support our family/parents/etc without sacrifice? Considerations around money beyond immediate needs and instant gratification can be a fear-inducing topic; it can also bring up shame, guilt, etc. You are encouraged to face what’s here for you and ask for support from those who are professionals to help you come to decisions. This transit reminds you that more is available!
Business Insight
Venus transiting Scorpio can support the receiving of lines of credit, loans, grants, and the like so you may find you make headway with those things during this time, especially if there have been obstacles before. You can also make progress on reducing debts or finding new investment opportunities. Don’t forget to negotiate strongly on money on any new contracts or collaborations.
Mars in Cancer (August 11th - September 26th)
Personal Insight
Mars in Cancer takes us on the journey of clarifying and/or remembering what our soul purpose is as well as strategizing on how to walk our karmic path in this incarnation. There are three broad components for the expression and experience of our soul purpose: personal, ancestral/soul family, and collective. The personal work is directly linked to our relationship with Source/God/Spirit and that Virtue (quality) we are to be the embodiment/emanation of throughout our life. The ancestral (blood relations) and soul family (friends, romantic partners, enemies) work delves into the recurring themes and dynamics of our interpersonal relationships, healing traumas, and evolving patterns of behavior. The collective work is centered on being an active agent for change in society which means dealing with economics, social justice, environmentalism, politics, and the like. The Mars in Cancer transit provides an important time for checking in on our alignment to what is specifically for us to do and to adjust our actions accordingly where needed.
Business Insight
Mars transiting Cancer provides a chance to check in and see how the work/rest flow is going. Is your work/production schedule tied to old Industrial Revolution constraints, i.e. forcing maximum output in a reductionist and linear format? Or is the schedule cognizant of human needs as well as the natural cycle of growth? If you are unsure about different ways to incorporate more human-centered approaches to work/tasks, then this is the time to do some research and practice applying different techniques. If you have already been doing so, then check in to see if you’ve been maintaining those actions or if you have fallen off (and if you’re good, then look to see where you can get better!).
Jupiter in Leo (June 30, 2026 - July 27, 2027)
This transit shifts focus to living out one’s soul purpose. This transit is great for those who’ve been diverted from their path due to events from the past as it will help them realign with the deeper desires of their soul. For others already walking in their purpose, there’s a much needed reinvigoration of commitment as well as motivation. This can translate into magnetic charisma and increased luck! In either case, you can expect a willingness to take risks you might not otherwise, which is necessary if you want to go where you’ve never gone before. Judging yourself harshly for a risk that doesn’t pan out is not a good use of this transit. Dust yourself off and try again.
For the entrepreneurs, this is your time to shine. There will be a lot more opportunities for you to be noticed, whether through marketing or networking. These next 12 months are the time to:
work on (further) establishing yourself as a leader with industry expertise and good business acumen through writing, speaking, etc,
network strategically & consistently, and
stack wins in initiatives that will set you apart down the road.
